Cavs don't play much D they rather try and outscore you.I know this is well after Tip time,but still they are terrible,only way their D looks good is if a team is missing.They can't stop penetration and have no rim protector...I sit here and laugh as commentators say Cavs have picked up defensive intensity the 2nd hf,no they haven't!!!
You're right. They have ZERO rim protection and are worst in the league at defending shots around the rim, by far. If the opponent has a competent scoring center, a look at their scoring props over never hurts.
All the LBJ talk about how great he is,but he lacks any desire to be a defender,he always switches off and never wants to be on the ball defender,he almost always plays 2 ft off whoever he is guarding,drives me nuts that they say he is a good defender.He is good but no where near the same mentality as Kobe or Jordan.
