Guys, I did this before a few years ago but now the light came back on. I forget what I did.And I can't find it on Google. The car is a 2001 Ford Taurus my mother drives it to the store and back. It's time for inspection and I need to clear the light.
I am pretty sure I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and loaded up an almost empty gas tank with 3 cans of dry gas and filled it with the high test gasoline. Then took it on a two hundred mile drive. Well to the casino and back. And that cleared it up.
Problem is that my mechanic says he cannot fix it because of where the sensor is.
Anyone know the work around?
