Man I really wanted bruce pearl to win.

If their big man doesnt get hurt vs Purdue then I think they win

For what its worth....Charles Barkley, a auburn alum, just said it was a "good call"....not just the right call, but a good call .....and said it "it had to be called."

Says a lot that he is able to take emotion out of it and be an unbiased commentator

I agree with his last part....he said you just cannot put yourself in that position.....because at that point it had to be called

T....you are big hoops guy.

How can they not call the double dribble?

They must have thought a defender hit it loose? Or is there a rule I'm not aware of?

Agree. Not sure why they didn?t foul when they were up 4. I would have. Play the clock foul game. They have to foul u with the lead.

No doubt. I didn't know the specifics about the double dribble rule, but then again I'm not a college basketball referee who earned an appearance in the Final Four. Feel bad for Auburn.

If a defender knocks it loose I understand they can dribble....but I'd love to hear what they "saw" on that play that caused them not to call a Double dribble

That shot by guy with 7 seconds left was huge too....instead of up 4 with the ball they are up 1....man guy has a pair on him....

Wow I hope pearl can get back.

It's just disgusting that teams work so hard to get to this stage and a major fuck up by a REF causes them a chance at glory. We keep seeing it time and time again. Happened to the Saints in the NFC championship game.

Everyone cries no replay but FUCK THAT. EVERYTHING is reviewable in the last two mins of any pro sport game.

It blows my mind...Put 3 referee's in a booth with 10 screens and put an ear piece in the referees on the floor. If they make the call in the last two mins then that's FINAL.

Watched the game with my Dad who coached for many years and he was yelling double dribble. I had no clue. The refs got caught up in the moment and blew the call. Sure it was atypical, but it is their job to make the proper call. I do not want to hear the excuses, it was an egregious error that almost surely cost Auburn the game. Worked out for me betting wise, but it is just not right. First the NFC championship, now this.
