KOSAR QUOTE ---

"WMD or no WMD, the fact remains that Saddam was no threat to America"

BILL CLINTON QUOTE ---

"The hard fact is that so long as Saddam remains in power, he threatens the well-being of his people, the peace of his region, the security of the world. "

I think you should run for president then. You seem to be the world's leading expert on foreign affairs and battle strategy. Why do you limit yourself to a measly gambling website 24/7??

Can you try to keep single thought threads to just one, please? Who can keep up with 3 or so common theme threads, that all contain pretty much the same info? Jesus...we post a response in one thread, you look at one of your other ones with the same questions, then you say we're afraid of you and you embarrass us.

Slow down and take a breath, man. We'll get to your rants in due time.

Manson,

I know it can be embarrassing trying to defend the indefensible, but let's try to keep it together.

Please show me how Saddam was a threat.

Please use your own brain(such that it is) and please don't use a 1997 quote from Barbara Boxer to bolster your argument.

Chad,

Don't worry, Mansons spam bombardments usually only last a day or so then he disappears for a month.

Nice find MC. I imagine most of his quotes are taken totally out of context.

Interesting...I read that speech. It was a great speech. Common sense, smart, acting with active support from allies, etc., all of the things that you would hope a man in a position of such power would do. Not only that, he made these comments...

AS HE WAS ANNOUNCING SUSTAINED, PRECISION AIR AND MISSILE STRIKES DESIGNED TO CRIPPLE SADDAM AND HIS ABILITY TO DO ALL THE THINGS WE ALL WERE AFRAID HE MIGHT DO.

Obviously, a different way to handle it. Didn't cost us $8 billion every month, and thousands of American lives. Two ways to look at - and handle - a situation. I feel a successful, measurable, and responsible way to handle it.

What's your next point, Charles?

The results of Clintons asprin factory airstrikes.....5 years later........

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."

- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003

Manson,

you musta missed this request. I'm sure you didn't just ignore it, because i'm sure you have all sorts of facts to show how Saddam was an immediate threat to the US, or any threat at all.

For starters, Saddam Hussein was firing anti-aircraft at American jets as the patrolled the UN mandated no fly zones. Best way to judge somebody is by thier actions.

If somebody offers a bounty on your American head, like Saddam did, then I would consider that a threat.

Saddam also offered a reward of $50,000 to the families of suicide bombers in Israel. This man was a MURDERER and you are sitting here defending him. Nice liberal logic.

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

Kosar? I thought you were smarter than this. With the way you run your mouth in here I'm shocked that you don't know about this.

Want more reasons????

How about Hillary Clinton telling American's that Saddam was harboring Al Queda????

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members" - Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

Never mind. You should have continued to ignore the question. Those are the most ridiculous things to use as evidence(sic) of a 'threat' and excuses to go to war.

Per Manson, he was an immediate threat to America because:

1. Every now and then he shot flack at US figthers, never hitting one mainly for the reason that his weapons were not capable of reaching the altitude that the jets flew at.

2. He paid the families of some suicide bombers in Palestine. (yes, that makes him a grave threat to America)

3. In 2002, Hillary said he gave aid to Al-Qaeda.

According to Manson, these reasons are worth 2000+ troops dying, 6 billion a week and countless maimings. Christ.

So he shot at our jets and missed, and that makes it ok?

I could imagine walking out and firing a shot at the guy across the street. I miss. The police come to arrest me. I tell the police..."Hey, I'm not a threat, I missed"

What if your son was one of those pilots being shot at?

You're an idiot.

Nice change of subject. I would change it also after seeing Mansons pathetic reasons for invading Iraq.

And no, I can't think of a war that didn't cost lives. Good point.

DJV, once again................educate yourself!!!!!!!!

This has been a known fact for years. Look it up. I'm tired of having to spell all this crap out for you day in and day out. It's not my job to educate you.

Even Kosar says it happened.

If your son was a pilot patrolling the UN Mandated no-fly-zones and he was getting shot at, how would you feel? Would that justify military response?

lol-I don't really think you're being serious. Did you see the part where IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE for those shells to hit our jets. Also, it happened infrequently because our radar would find the artillery nest immediately after they fired and they would blow it up.

I'd hate to confuse you with facts, Manson, but that has to be the most ridiculous reason i've heard yet for the invasion.

My son in the plane? He's a hell of a lot safer there than on the ground dodging bombs. You seem to have no problem with that though.

And let's say they actually hit a plane. Is that enough reason to spend lives, billions(trillions?) and occupy a country?

Christ, they throw up some useless flack and you wanna invade. I gues you'd nuke them if they hit one, huh?

Yeah, i'm the idiot.
