this is turning quite interesting -- and i was afraid they would "team" for the white house

that looks quite improbable right now

wouldnt be surprised to see them both drag each other down and that scheister trial lawyer Edwards leak his way into contention

not sure how anyone could like Hilliary and her screeching voice -- anything but presidential

They won't be dragging each other down. You will see unity eventually. I know it's the repub's wet dream and all - and you guys will post anything that remotely resembles a conflict, but you will be dissappointed when all is said and done.

This is at least the second thread along these lines by anti-liberals. I guess these people have no remembrance of the last, what, bazillion political races by both parties where the contestants were trying to make themselves look better than their co-runners.

Funny, how come you're not giving credit to all the liberal media outlets who are outing these candidates and their adversarial behavior? I mean, heck, those are so rampant with favoritism, right?

Only possible way for Obama is through back door and VERY doubtful there.
Happy to see all these $$$ from the left flying out the window--again :)

Reasons unelectable--

--As Biden said anyone with common sense is not going to put an OJT candidate in whitehouse during these times.

Don't think general public is ready for pres with name Barrarck Hussein Obama--just yet

Family history will be definate no for many.

--and no way will he would pull over 30% of latino vote max even if he could walk on water--Their % against him would parrallel blacks against conservatives

UPDATE: Maureen Dowd Column Incites Hillary-Obama War of Words

By E&P Staff

Published: February 21, 2007 10:40 AM ET

NEW YORK Maureen Dowd's column in The New York Times today, in which she quoted former Bill Clinton supporter David Geffen offering a few caustic comments, has incited a strong Hillary Clinton campaign attack on Geffen -- and the candidate he now favors, Sen. Barack Obama.

Then Obama's team fired back.

"Everybody in politics lies, but they [the Clintons] do it with such ease, it?s troubling,? Geffen had said.

Clinton campaign spokesman Howard Wolfson released the following statement this morning: "While Senator Obama was denouncing slash and burn politics yesterday, his campaign's finance chair was viciously and personally attacking Senator Clinton and her husband.

"If Senator Obama is indeed sincere about his repeated claims to change the tone of our politics, he should immediately denounce these remarks, remove Mr. Geffen from his campaign and return his money.

"While Democrats should engage in a vigorous debate on the issues, there is no place in our party or our politics for the kind of personal insults made by Senator Obama's principal fundraiser."

Obama's team responded a few hours later. Communications director Robert Gibbs just released the following statement:

?We aren?t going to get in the middle of a disagreement between the Clintons and someone who was once one of their biggest supporters. It is ironic that the Clintons had no problem with David Geffen when was raising them $18 million and sleeping at their invitation in the Lincoln bedroom. It is also ironic that Senator Clinton lavished praise on Monday and is fully willing to accept today the support of South Carolina State Sen. Robert Ford, who said if Barack Obama were to win the nomination, he would drag down the rest of the Democratic Party because he's black."

Geffen protested to Arianna Huffington today that he has no role in the Obama campaign beyond co-sponsoring his giant Hollywood fundraising event this week.

Among other things, Hollywood and music mogul Geffen had told Dowd, "God knows, is there anybody more ambitious than Hillary Clinton?" and "Obama is inspirational, and he?s not from the Bush royal family or the Clinton royal family. Americans are dying every day in Iraq. And I?m tired of hearing James Carville on television.?

More from Dowd:

-- "I don?t think anybody believes that in the last six years, all of a sudden Bill Clinton has become a different person,? Mr. Geffen says, adding that if Republicans are digging up dirt, they?ll wait until Hillary?s the nominee to use it. ?I think they believe she?s the easiest to defeat.?

-- She is overproduced and overscripted. ?It?s not a very big thing to say, ?I made a mistake? on the war, and typical of Hillary Clinton that she can?t,? Mr. Geffen says. ?She?s so advised by so many smart advisers who are covering every base. I think that America was better served when the candidates were chosen in smoke-filled rooms.?

-- Once, David Geffen and Bill Clinton were tight as ticks. Mr. Geffen helped raise some $18 million for Bill and slept in the Lincoln Bedroom twice. Bill chilled at Chateau Geffen. Now, the Dreamworks co-chairman calls the former president ?a reckless guy? who ?gave his enemies a lot of ammunition to hurt him and to distract the country.?

-- They fell out in 2000, when Mr. Clinton gave a pardon to Marc Rich after rebuffing Mr. Geffen?s request for one for Leonard Peltier. ?Marc Rich getting pardoned? An oil-profiteer expatriate who left the country rather than pay taxes or face justice?? Mr. Geffen says. ?Yet another time when the Clintons were unwilling to stand for the things that they genuinely believe in. Everybody in politics lies, but they do it with such ease, it?s troubling.?

What is an OJT ??? You would make a important decision on the future of our country based on a persons name ???? Your post is full of code words and the stench of stupidity , simple mined racism. What do we need during these times, times created by this administration. 4> yrs of Bush ??? Or another smart white guy like him ???? Maybe we need a bitch or a spook, the white boys aren't getting it done.:SIB

We can't afford to accept the perfect little dem or rep, cut from the same molds we have been getting. We need a change. Americans ask why the world hates us ? They don't ,they hate our leadership and they should, we do. As Americans we can't make choices based on fear or our fear of change. What do we have to lose by choosing someone nontraditional. Our jobs are gone, our prestige is shot, our military has been used up and our rear flank is wide open hear at home. We are at a crossroads, making our next president one of these clones they are offering up will be equal to staying the course in Iraq. Leave your party behind; put America first. It's hard, the system is stacked against us. In the last election, the 25% of us that voted made a change. Can you tell the difference ????? There all the same boys and girls. We need a revolution at the polls, and it wont come from red or blue states, it has to come from red, white and blue states all across this great land. PUT AMERICA FIRST; LEAVE YOUR PARTY BEHIND !!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ALL THOSE WHO THINK FREE AND LOVE FREEDOM AROUND THE WORLD !!!!

In my opinion the less contact a candidate has had with Washington the better. The last thing we need is a Good Ol' Boy or Girl from either party.
