CMU appears to be the class of the MAC....i know this is a rivalry game and they're on the road....but the Chips are 17-4 ATS in their last 21 MAC games.

At -2 1/2, this almost falls into the dreaded 'It Looks too Easy' category.

Anybody have any thoughts on this game?

when i saw this line for the first time i thought the same things as TOLEDO PROPHET,

looks way to easy , and the lines drops of a 3, very sketchy.

I'll lay the 2-1/2 in this one.

The Chippewas are 5-0 in MAC play and can clinch the West Division with a victory.

WMU is 3-6.

High winds and possible rain/snow , keep an eye on the weather. In ideal conditions this game total should get into the 70's but I'll wait to just prior to kick off before playing anything.

Hey Doc, also from St. Joe. Good to see SW Mich represented here. Where do you play your golf? BTW, also on CMU and the under. Can't imagine throwing a pass or kicking a FG in this wind.

CMU has really been two different teams this year......theyre 1-4 SU, ATS in non-conference games and had their doors blown off by Kansas (The Chips say Welcome to Club, Nebraska!), Purdue and Clemson.

But, they're 4-0 SUATS in league play. In a league where every team basically looks the same, CMU is clearly at the head of the class. They're defending league champs and posted an 8-1 ATS record in nine MAC games last year.

Get this, they've beaten the spread by an average of 19 1/2 points in those four MAC games this year. Yet, they've also allowed 27.75 points per game in those contests.

They topped NIU, 35-10, Toledo, 52-31, and Kent 41-32 as short favs like tonight. They beat Ball St 58-38 as 12-point dogs.

Only these weather reports are whats stopping me from thinking this will be a complete, defense optional shootout. Still think a lot of points will be scored tonight. Average total points in the above four league games are 74 points, ten points more than the Veags O/U....gotta think that line is set there because of the weather.

Like i said, this game screams "it looks to easy." Hiller is a good QB for WMU and should be able to take advantage of CMU's so-so defense. The home team has dominated the series from an ATS standpoint.

Yet, I cant seem to get off the Chips....part of it is how much of money maker they've been in the MAC. They've been good to me, and I am sure that regular MAC posters and players on this site have been cashing with the chips for two years now as well.

In addition to CMU, maybe a small teaser CMU +5, Over 57?......thats 17 less points than their average MAC score.....is the weather that bad, where a defensive game might break out? Hard to imagine given how many points the winning team in CMU's game shas been scoring in all games this year.....just a thought with that teaser.....any other ideas?

Dont know about all of you, but i fully endorse Tuesday Night Football!!!!!

Play everywhere...anywhere

Play everywhere...anywhere

Hey Bear...as far as golf...(alphabetically) Angels Crossing, Berrien Hills, Blossom Trails, Cheshire Hills, Dogwood, Eberhart (SB), Hampshire, Hawkshead, Heritage Glen, Indian Lake, Juday Creek, Lake Cora, Lynx, Paw Paw Lake, Point O'Woods, Pipestone Creek, Plym Park...can't remember all of them...but play with a great group on Sundays...we travel all over.

Toledo...with the weather I'm seein' now I think 57 might be on the number (37-20). GL

Anyone see any value in under 14/1st quarter. Think teams will not test the wind right away & start running the ball. 2 td's you still push.

Wow, interesting line shift....maybe the weather, maybe its the only game on the docket and people are pounding the under.

Considering the winner in CMU games is averages 49.5 per game, teasing that over down is looking more and more attrative.

Now I've talked myself into two bets that appear to be "too easy" on paper. Yikes!

Down to 59.5.

This is getting a bit much...

I am hoping this drops to 58. If it hits 58 I wont be able to pass it up.

Down to 59, winds only 10-20 mph I'm seeing. COld, but nothing too bad that anyone from michigan would be bothered by.

I'm starting to lean towards the over here, hmmmm.
