At last a good debate. Even if they had no health care questions asked by the public. And a couple dumb ones about Jesus and the bible. No clear winners. But at least Mc Cain came alive. But in the end lots of promise just like the Dem's that they can't keep. John Edwards may start to look good.

Mitt Romney seems like a slippery character to me.
He really fell off with his gay answers.

Thompson - that catfish mouth is such a distraction. Maybe a eye lift is due also. Funny when he reffered to the Cheney cartoon as himself.

Huckabee - He looks so much like Gomer Pyle I am not sure I could get over that hurtle.

Ron Paul - Had some good moments.

McCain - I just dont know about him.

Guiliani - I couldnt vote for him.

At least we get good questions for a debate. Remembet not long ago how the softball questions never stirred anything to debate.
blah blah blah blah....

I like the Huckabee sending Hillary to Mars.

ANd the Jesus wouldnt be in politics was good.

Anderson did a good job.

Didn't see debate but been reading about it--however think debate might be over shadowed by events that took place during event. I see where Cooper has acknowledged it but no mention on the "Most Trusted " news website yet-

--Did like McCains rebuttle on war--

---McCain said he just returned from a Thanksgiving visit to soldiers in Iraq and their message to Americans was "let us finish" the job.

saw chuck norris in the audience.....and that turkey strapped to his head looked like it had a rough thanksgiving...
...........................................................

When Chuck Norris' wife burned the turkey one thanksgiving, Chuck said, "don't worry about it honey," and went into his backyard. He came back five minutes later with a live turkey, ate it whole, and when he threw it up a few seconds later it was fully cooked and came with cranberry sauce.

When his wife asked him how he had done it, he gave her a roundhouse kick to the face and said, "Never fawk with Chuck ."

Unless you been tuned to just CNN today--you should have heard by now about the plants in debate--1st news broke this morning when I posted.

Quite ironic how Dems tremble at thought of going on any media but the pro Dem media--yet Rebs debate on media where--well you decide.

too many to cut and paste--

Several reports on Drudge
http://www.drudgereport.com/

Best one on cnn you tube plants--
http://michellemalkin.com/2007/11/2...nts-abortion-questioner-is-edwards-supporter/

Just for definition sake, all media other than Fox is pro-Dem, correct?

I will admit MSNBC is nearly as much of a Bush hate fest as FOX is a Clinton hate fest. But if you watch CNN with a neutral mind the last few years, they really seem to be by far the closest to the middle out of any on cable. They certainly offer the most "NEWS" out of the bunch. ...Just don't watch Larry King, he sucks.

I like their financial section but politically they a far from middle of the road.

I kinda like idea of candidates being questioned by other party on debates--but it has to be 2 way street--saw interviews with several Dem stratagist lasy night and all acknowedged that debate questions at vegas with Dems for most part were non confrontational while not the case in recent debate.

Here was CNN rebuttle--

"CNN said that before deciding to use Kerr's question and fly him out to the debate, it had verified his military background and that he had not contributed any money to any presidential candidate.

Afterward, Senior Vice President and Executive Producer of the debate, David Bohrman, issued a statement. "We regret this incident. CNN would not have used the general's question had we known that he was connected to any presidential candidate."

If they had known---He wasn't half way through his diatribe until the bloggers were lighting up the boards on CNN simply by doing google search on him--which makes CNN either liars or the most incompetent news network--take your pick.

Don't ask don't tell is a wishy-washy disgrace. Keep laws that prevent fraternization between troups and let soldiers be mature enough to work with a wide spectrum of their fellow Americans. The idea that our military would burst into flames if gay people openly joined the the armed forces is a stretch. Whether you think 1% or 5% or 10% of Americans are gay, you have to admit those that join the armed forces are commited to protecting and serving this country. Why else would they join?

Either say being gay is against the rules or say it's not against the rules. Pick a side.

By the way Dogs, I am not trying to bait you, I agree with you on some issues, I am just 'off topic' expressing my view on this one issue. not really about the debate at all.

I have no prob with gays in military or anywhere else for that fact-- other than those that are exobishionists (spl) My issue was with the plants even so far as flying them in--

on the don't ask don't tell--I'm not sure to what extent--I certainly wouldn't mind if they acknowledged they are gay--but getting intimate with another in presence of others would be a serious problem.

Yeah that was somewhat strage, considering it is probably not in the top 50, in terms of important issues the country is facing. And I don't even think it made any of the canidates look weak. It's potential as a wedge issue is pretty small.

It didn't matter. And it's possible Anderson New little. There was another question they did catch and did not use per Anderson. I never seen Anderson pick sides. I thought the Reb got by with any tough questions on health care. A debate with anyone on Fox would be a joke. Hannity seems to always show up and give his opinion. Even when not asked. I see Hannity man Rudy taking some hits.
