Have to admit, this one is giving me a bit more pause, because the Suns have gone through three practices already with Lindsey Hunter. To me, it is more of the "shock", immediate step-up factor that I liked. Going to look at the match-up a bit more in depth.

this one worry me a little ... PHO fired Coach, then their top two assistants OFF and DEF also left the team. This year the other 3 teams that fire their coach, next game are HM. PHO tomorrow are on the Road.

I am going to pass on this one. Don't like everything that is going on with this organization. Totally different player mindset than the other ones so far this season, in my opinion.

Unfortunately, the only conclusion to draw from the immediate reaction to Blanks? decision is that he didn?t have the credibility established among his troops to make this type of call. In some ways, this is even worse than the Pistons? ?mutiny? against coach John Kuester because it extends into the coaching staff. Quitting on the spot and not showing up to practice is about as drastic as it can get for NBA coaches. That?s the ultimate sign of philosophical differences and a major vote of no confidence in management.

We also noted on Sunday that the ?only expectation? on Hunter this season is that ?his locker room doesn?t explode.? Oof. Hunter?s mission now is to ride out the short-term drama as best he can. The dysfunction in the desert is clearly bigger than his appointment. While there appears to be some resentment and a lot of questions internally over the move, the coaching change has been made and everyone will accept it, eventually.

Great info to have, I wrote this down when you last posted it before Skiles got booted, one of the reasons I liked the Suns last night - also flu bug going around with players but most of them play through it with meds and you can tell by how they act when they sit on the bench, they get winded easier and come out quicker or drag ass going back down the court, case and points, watch the Spurs early last night

Good stuff HH, one of the reasons I enjoy coming to the board!
