I think Codrinton will probably outbox him, but I'm not willing to lay the juice, it wouldn't surprise me if Bika pulled the upset. Looking for thoughts and opinions from the board, I'm sure there will be plenty, fight is tomorrow night so lets get this started

i seriously doubt that codrington will stop bika....bika`s gone the distance with some very tough hombres......and bika`s not a puncher in the allan geen/miranda mode....

i suspect that codrington will probably box rather than brawl with bika....at first blush,the over,which is about the same as codrington odds looks a little better than a side,imo...

i haven`t committed to anything...just thinking out loud....

this contender stuff doesn`t really thrill me....i hope they show the complete fight and not that phony cut and paste shit they do( replete with sound effects) on the show/.....

that ruins it for me...

Just looking at respective resumes, had I not checked the line, I would have made Bika the favorite. Obviously I seem to be missing something. Or maybe not. Codrington is a big boy with 14 whacks, but Bika has seen better opposition, I would say. Guess he does look for the KO. Well, I sure as heck ain't certain either way, but I could bet Bika and feel OK with it.

Codrington fought two bums, lucky draw.
Codrington is very hitable so is Bika but Bika can take it Codrington cant.
Bika can also box alittle, nice ljab and lead left hook.
Bika right hand is wild and wide not not very effectice, Soliman ducked away under most shots Condrington is alot taller so maybe Bika gets one of his haymaker in-
Condrington is also mentally weaker than Bika and there are 750000 on the table, big pressure.

I took Codrington b4 the post came up. I was thinking -145 was going to get wider but actually the odds closed a little bit. I haven't seen much of either fighter. I saw Bika/Zags. I thought Zags was a bit off that night. I get the impression Bika is a bit more of a pretender than a bona fide condender. Not sure Codrington is the real deal but his pop is for real, he's got good ht and rch w/pretty decnt boxing ability. I like that this is going 10 and not 12. I think if Codrington stays on his feet then he wins. If he fights with confidence rather than caution, then I feel he could get Bika out of there. I wouldn't push this wager on anybody but I have a med/large amt on it. GL.

Very nice inside odds at 5dimes

plus 375 for Codrington and plus 350 for Bika.

My instincts still say Bika inside, i like the inside play better than the straight play.
I played Bika straight, the under and Codrinton straight and Codrington inside.
I am a mess. Jesus.Lets hope somebody goes down.

i ain`t throwing money at this contender stuff.....but i have been thinking about mosley/cotto.....

i wish mosley wasn`t 36......you got a guy that`s fought much bigger guys....dlh/winky/vargas/....guys like vernon forrest....

and you have the media darling cotto....3 fights outta lt welterweight....fighting a mosley that`s 2 inches taller.....and probably naturally bigger...even though cotto was a big jr welter....mosley`s hung with much bigger guys...

i was trying to picture in my mind cotto vs dlh or winky.....i think they both destroy cotto....

mosley`s never been stopped....his toughest fights have been vs tallish big guys(dlh/winky/forrest).....mosley`s the taller guy here...

cotto`s been seriously buzzed several times by jr welters(torres and corley come to mind...i think zab stung him early,too).....and lately,he hasn`t been in with many real punchers...

i wish mosley was a little younger....i`ve never been a big mosley fan.....if he gets stopped here,i believe it will due to cotto`s body work.... ...

but,cotto`s got a very resilient guy in front of him...he`s been in wars with guys,imo,who are bigger and better than cotto......and mosley can punch...and he`s quick.......not a smaller quick guy like judah who has mental issues......and again, mosley can take some punishment.....of course,at 36.he`s still a ?......5 years ago,i jump on mosley at THESE odds...

if these odds go up a little,i may take a look at the old man.....i just don`t know what`s left in that tank...

Great 1st rd but this referee is total garbage. Bika landed 2 good shots when cod was dowen and no warning...Bika is holding Cod like his woman and the ref is doing nothing...Horrible ref job

Cod is allowing Bika to outmuscle him. Cod could side step and box like Teddy is suggesting but he's fighting bikas fight. 3-1 bika. Bika is getting help from this ref who has no business in the ring.
