Coffin Corner

Okay, that confirms it for me. Why don't more punters aim for the coffin corner and punt the ball out of bounds. These guys who try to punt it high and place it within the 10 invariably put it in the endzone. Maybe this Koenen will bring it back.

ANEN Roger...i have asked that question for years. Why did punters quit doing this? I remember when the could put it on the 2 or 3 on a regular basis...now that pouch punt crap

Good call on the coffin corner, like the free throw and lay up in basketball, and the bunt in baseball. None of these over paid athletes want to do something boring. They'd rather have six guys waiting at the 3 yard line to down the punt, two with their fingers up there ass and the other four looking around like the key stone cops wondering where the ball went!
