I was wondering why the total for the COL/CHI game was only 7.5????? Hampton is struggling of late and Wood is known to give up a good amount of runs at Wrigley during the day. Any answers???????????//

Thanks

no i think that's in from centerfield which should help wood keep those fly balls in the park. granted most of col's lineup hasnt faced him much but you know what you're up against, wood doesnt try to trick anyone, he says here it is, hit it. especially with the wind behind him today, i'd like to see his reading on the gun.
so if col is smart, they arent trying to jack everything out, need to take it the other way--
o nora behind the plate according to mlb.com

I was going to post this as a thread but will put it here. This looks like a set-up to me. Hampton could give up this many by himself and the Cubs bp could get the job done by themselves. So how can it not go over? The wind is blowing in from left center. At Wrigley this can be like trying to hit thru a brick wall. Yesterday, we had just the opposite and the over was possible at any time. Because of the low number, I''m looking for an ump that is also supposed to go under but won't know that until maybe 30 min before the game. As soon as I know, I will post how I feel about the ump here. I would suggest holding you play until we get that information.

Well, I said I was looking for a solid under ump behind the plate. How's this for solid.

Brian O'Nora is 14-6 under on the year. 8 straight unders. 6-2 opposite the game in front of him and Fletcher went over last night. The crew is 6-1 under last 7. 7' is an awful low number but I would be careful playing the over. Good luck

Just a little advice, posting during a game is the kiss of death.
Especially when someone posts right before you that they are on the same game the opposite side.

Good luck:nono:
