This may have been answered already so I apologize in advance if that is the case. If I buy a Ledger Nano S and/or a Trezor, do I need to mess with paper wallets at all? Can't I just take my coins from the exchange directly to my Nano or Trezor? And then add them back on the exchange if I wish?

No, I wouldn't put what could amount to large wealth on paper without having it in multiple locations etc. Trezor and Nano.

Definitely use a hardwallet.

Don't trust exchanges. No telling when the tax man will come knocking on exchanges doors.:0008

I was running a BBS in my parents house in 1990. Wildcat multiline. Cooler than cool. The dot net bubble I begged my parents to buy domains... Nobody wanted mcdonalds in 93. wasn't purchased until 94.

This is the internet bubble in infancy. It went 5 TRILLION (not confirmed) before popping.

We are at 1.22Billion in a global market during hard economic times.

There is wealth here.

I'm glad to make you and your loved ones lifes easier by sharing knowledge!

Thats enough for me.

So where do you store MTL and CVC?

Pretty sure my Ledger doesn't support those two. At least I can't find anything about it taking MTL.

I've been watching youtube videos on myetherwallet. I notice they talk about only accessing it offline. Is it that much of a concern?

How safe are my coins on myetherwallet? I'm going to finish moving all my coins off the exchanges tonight. I ordered a Trezor but still waiting on it. Just wanted to know if I can quit sweating things now that i'm just on MEW?

In better place than before. ETH transactions move quickly. Just remember to keep ETH in your wallet so that you don't run out of gas and can't transfer!

I learned that last night. Had to get more BTC to Bittrex, then convert to ETH, then send to MEW. Thanks!
