Who'd a thunk it?
Lines on Iowa high school football??
If your curious, google Applington-Parkersburg.
Very sad story about the murder of the football coach by a former player.
Most of Parkersburg was destroyed in a tornado a few years ago.
The area has produced several players for Iowa that have gone on to play in the NFL.

I'm in for a few coins on the dog in this one.

We've been hitting these HS games for several years. Very volatile lines, low limits, and higher juice but still profitable.

For Ohio games, Carl Spackler and I race to hammer their openers and then watch the line move like crazy.

Light rain on and off all day here in eastern Iowa; 50% chance of rain in Parkersburg this evening
This is my first ever wager on a high school game; I'll keep an eye out for you and Spackler's plays on the high schools.

Dike is 1a and Aplington is 2a at home?

All of Iowa has gone to district football this year; first time in the bigger classes so there are all kinds of new match-ups for many schools.
Tomorrow night Central DeWitt travels 20 minutes down the road to play at Clinton.
3A vs 4A so they haven't played a game against each other in a long time. Will be fun to watch this rivalry get started again.

Reds give us a final score on AP game tomorrow. I coached at the same time as Ed Thomas
and knew him quite well as we attended some coaching clincis together. Unbelievable story

Horrible story, hawk. And you knew the man, too. Unbelievable that it's been 6 yrs since that happened.
You have ESPN3?
They are broadcasting the game. I'll be watching on my phone while watching the golden showers, er , goofers get handled by Eastern Illinois..
I can update the score here for you if you'd like....:toast:

App fell apart in the 2nd half:nono:

D-NH wore them out with their big running backs and it didn't help our cause that the QB for AP threw some terrible balls up for grab that turned into interceptions--he had at least 4 picks and there was a fumble or two as well...
It was very easy to tell that the AP defense was gassed in the 4th quarter--couldn't tackle and they looked to be running in quicksand...:sadwave:

We'll get it back this weekend....:0008
