VERY anxious to get this new week going as last week's college was a disaster to say the least! One horendous Saturday that really put a damper on this early season. VERY frustrating day that left me with many questions on what the hell happened, but going to keep capping the way I do and plug away at this "one day" deficit that struck me. I WILL come back strong like I usually do. Still many weeks to go...let's get started:

YTD: 26-31-1 -27.90 units

5* CAL -4

*I know Oregon St. is tough to win at, but this Beaver team is really having a hard time getting back on track after that LSU game. I love that CAL has both very dangerous air and ground attacks...that's tough to stop. Beavers have won the last 5 in this series...that STOPS here!! Beavers offensive game is really struggling as their last home game they completly dominated NMex and only won by 10. That won't get it done against a juggernaut offensive team like CAL. The Bears have USC on deck and really can't afford to go in there with no winning momentum. Throw in the extra time CAL has had to prepare. Might be close early, but they'll pull away and should cover this small number on the road.*

5* Purdue -1

*One name...Kyle Orton!! As everyone knows this guy has complete control over this Purdue offense and has them clicking like no other team. This is the first real test for them and I think they'll be up for the challenge. Like CAL, I think this Purdue team has some special things going this year that will make them win close games like these. ND has been playing well lately against some tough opponents, but nothing like this type of offense. Should be a very tight game throughout, but feel Orton will be the difference. Them being installed as favorites in this game says A LOT! The over could be a good play as well, but for now sticking with the Boilermakers!*

5* Georgia -2.5 -120

*Bought the half here for my own reasons. These SEC games have been a little wild, so the field goal could win it, BUT I'm sure just like the Bulldogs I have had this game circled ever since the clock turned to 0's last year at LSU when the Tigers squeaked by them. This game is HUGE for Georgia and there is really no excuse for them not to beat this LSU team who has not faired well against solid competition so far this year. Georgia has had two weeks to prepare and WILL get their revenge here at home against a LSU team that is definetly not the same as last year. Georgia has been licking their chops for this game since last season and will finally come out and play like a top five team they know they can be like. They've been hearing some critisism so far this year on their offensive performance (Trev Alberts), but this game will shut them up as it "should" be a one sided affair here.*

3* Utah -9.5 (Friday night)
3* S.Mississippi -4

GL!! Should be adding some more.....

Adding:

3* Army +19

*What am I doing going with a team that holds the nations longest losing streak? Well, this play is mainly against TCU as their defense has been getting torched every week it seems giving up tons of yards and points. This definetly isn't the same "D" as in previous years and I believe the Cadets will score on them like everyone else has been doing and keep it within the number. TCU was 1-12 on 3rd down conversions last week eventhough they scored 44 pts which is terrible.*

thoughts on georgia game

with you here on ga. The week off really has helped this team. Ware got some time to heal up and the biggest thing about this week is that the already impressive defense is getting better. Odell Thurman is finally returning. After being suspended for the first three games, word is that he hasn't missed a step in practices. I don't know the other starting linebacker's status, White, but people don't know that they have been playing second string linebackers first three games. As posted in another thread, i believe this will be the week that ga's offense is going to start to click, just like the Tennessee game last year, and i think that spread was ga -3 too. Add in that the game is at Sanford, where they haven't lost in over 2 years, i like ga here.

one more thing, ga southern scored three touchdowns on second and third string d's and all they did was try to run the ball all game

1* Arizona St. +3
1* West Virginia +3
1* Texas A&M -4
1* Indiana +19

*I feel the Hoosiers at home will again play a good first half against Mich and this time NOT fold in the second half like they did last week and be in this game. They are definetly a better team than in years past and this line is inflated. As we all know Mich laying wood on the road with coach Carr hasn't been a good thing.*

Good luck Right Side. That is a very big card. I respect your plays, but for me playing a big card is deadly, the juice adds up quickly.

Did you watch the game? Ga southern was inside georgias 20four times and fumbled turned over on downs etc (no points) in the first half Was that against third stringers?? I dont think so.

RS,
1st want to say I really look forward to your insight on games. Unfortuniately I'm on the other side of the GA/LSU game. I don't see GA's O getting it done this weekend. Yeah the week off will help, but they have showed me nothing at all this year. LSU on the other hand has a great D and basically had a tune up game against a terrible Miss. St team last week. GLon the other plays!

Thanks for the comments guys! There are a lot of cappers I respect on LSU this weekend and I seem to be the only one on GA. Maybe I'm missing something, but gotta stick to what I think. Maybe I'll be wrong, but I've learned you should never second guess yourself. I got screwed doing that a couple weeks ago when I originally had Ohio St. and I ended up changing to NC St. because of the forum consensus on the Wolfpack and we all know how that ended up. It's only one play out of many, so hopefully we can all come out winners this weekend. None the less it should be a very good game to watch. Best of luck to all....

Right side! You will be on the right side with UGA. I am a huge LSU fan and insider. LSU will make a game of it but UGA wins and covers 3 no question! I talk with Mark May (gameday) occasionally and LSU is not the same team offensively they were last year. Mike Clayton and Devery Henderson are in the NFL and we are very weak at Quarterback. Marcus Randall is the worst quarterback in the last 15 years atr LSU and Jamarcus Russell has no experience. Russell will be the real deal but cannot lead LSU in to a extremely hostile Athens GA. I love the Tigers but I am on UGA -2.5 like a hobo on a bologna sandwich. Like red ants on a snowcone, like Scott4USC on a Matt Leinert blow up doll .

Upgrading one play:

2* West Virginia +3

*There's no way VT loses two in a row at home..can they? YES they will!*

Well guys this is the final post for this card. I will be going out of town for the weekend as my brother is getting married. Best of Luck to all and have a profitable weekend. Bounce back time for me as I still have a very sour taste in my mouth from last Saturday's pitiful performance.
