College Football Week 1 odds available at betED.com

The 2008 NCAA College Football season gets underway Aug. 28 and betED.com has early lines for more than 40 games during Week 1.

It all starts with the Texas-El Paso Miners visiting the Buffalo Bills at 7 pm ET, with Buffalo a 3-point favorite in betED.com College Football betting odds.

The USC Trojans, which are ranked third in the Associated Press Top 25 and the CBSSports.com 120 polls and second in the Coaches Poll, face the Virginia Cavaliers in their season opener on Aug. 30. The Trojans are a 19?-point road favorite.

The LSU Tigers, the defending national champion, are atop two preseason polls ? the AP Top 25 and the CBSSports.com 120 ? while the Georgia Bulldogs are No. 1 in the Coaches Poll.

College Football betting fans can wager on the season-opening games for both teams Aug. 30, with LSU facing Appalachian State and Georgia playing Southern Georgia. Other games of note in Week 1 include the Washington Huskies visiting the Oregon Ducks in a Pac-10 Conference matchup on Aug. 30, with the Ducks 13?-point favorites.

That same day, the Boston College Eagles visit the Kent State Golden Flashes, with Boston College a 9?-point road favorite.

Also on Aug. 30, the Florida Gators host the Hawaii Warriors, with the Gators a whopping 33?-point favorite.

And that night, the Michigan State Spartans will be on the West Coast to battle the California Golden Bears, with the Bears a 5?-point home favorite.
