probably playing bonny and huskers myself but actually leaning to drake. you think your hawkeyes can put them away tonight? as i trust your opinion i am at least going to punt drake. nice night last night - i'm still miffed about the donut i put up last night to knock me back below .500 again. it's been kinda tough this year. gl

Yeah, I know the history of Iowa V Drake and the fact that the Bulldogs always find a way to give Iowa fits. In addition, I think Drake probably has their best team in the last few years-- certainly since Kanaskie has been there, anyway.
That being said-- Alford has been working this team hard since the U.N.I. debacle, and the players have responded. They tore Iowa St. a new one the other night, and they are looking to do the same to Drake tonight. I think the line is about right, but I'm gonna take a flyer on the Hawks.
Don't back out of playing Drake tonight on my account-- with Anders replying in this thread, I got a feeling its gonna be a LONG night......

Need to chime in on this Iowa game tonight. A grad from Iowa State didn't feel real well when Iowa came to Ames and kicked the Cyclones all over the court. (Loved the ISU outcome in football - deserve a "little rib" redsfann!

Look at last night's game loophole - Iowa State hung in there against a pretty good BC unit.

Also factor in Drake's gym. Who the hell can win there? Their gym compares to Vanderbuilt's, in a way.

Realize the in-state rivalaries, but most of these Drake "shockers" have come in their crackerbox. The Bulldogs should get humbled tonight. Alford has this team focused after the UNI thing. Missouri, on deck, for the Hawkeyes. Believe Alford has denounced any of those thoughts.
