College Hoops 11/21:
*Finally some rain here in No Cal that might allow our Brave First Responders and Fire Crews to get the edge on this Camp Fire that is still burning north of Chico CA....
I have a friend that lives in Paradise and he returned to the destruction and devastation to find his home still in tact, however, all his neighbors homes and the cul de sac he lived in completely gone. He says it looks like a nuclear bomb had gone off. He said most of his belongings are smoke damaged as well as the interior of his home. His wife escaped the fire with their dogs and the tires of her vehicle were burned through that she was literally driving on her rims when a fellow evacuee got her and their dogs into his truck and made it out...... They found a horse in a swimming pool in someone's back yard that got caught up in the pool cover but it saved the horses life as the cover worked as a life perserver which kept the horses head above the water.... Lots of crazy stories like that coming out.
