1.) miss. plus 2...no doubt LSU is about at hot as can get right now..but i like the way this one sets up...tigers on back to back road games against a team that can play solid at home...LSU got an absolute gift on Sat against Auburn...they were down by 6 at the half ..then Auburn just absolutely collapsed in the second half...just dont see Miss doing that at home in this one...furthermore take a deeper look at the first game at LSU this year...LSU had a free throw advantage of 30-5 ...i just cannot see LSU getting 25 more free throws on the road in this one...despite that free throw advantage Miss still hung tough and lost by only 10 at LSU...there is no shame in that ..better teams in the SEC have gone to LSU and fared worse...
Last year ..LSU was minus 2.5 at Miss (very similar to this year) and lost outright ...Furthermore, although they are playing very well...IMO when a team is playing at a very high level for a number of games ...at some point the intensity gets to that team and it often collapses...Im not syaing Miss will be an easy win tonight or LSU gets blown out ...i just think this may be a good spot to go against this team...lets not forget ...this same team got absolutely crushed at kentucky and tenn. earlier this year...two teams Miss played tough at home..beating Tenn. and losing to Kentucky by 3...
In all..Miss. is a tough team to cap..as you dont know if the team who gave Kentucky all it can handle will show up or the team that strugled against Georgia at home will show up..
Im hoping Miss. comes out focused handles LSU at home...Think this is a good spot for an upset
