Sometimes a team is just due to drop off the map. Either injuries or coaching can cause a team to drop obviously. Sometimes the team takes on an us against the world mentality and rallies for a week or two. In my mind that is what Penn State has done. They play a tough one in that emotional week leading up to Nebraska and stay close with a team who I think is a lot better. Next they rally against all odds and beat Ohio State on the road. Wisconsin has not looked great lately and is coming off two lackluster road performences.
Everyone who has ever watched big ten football knows wisconsin is so much better at Camp Randall. Psu will not know what hit them by the time halftime comes around here. Wisconsin likes to step on big ten opp, when they get the chance. PSU should be emotionally flat and ill prepared as far as this game is considered. I like that the line as dropped to 14.5 off 16. IMO PSU nation and some public bettors are overreacting to the lasgt two games of both teams especially PSU and expect them to keep outperforming expectations. I expect a blowout. That said I'm buying the hook to at least keep it at 14.
