Have Furyk in my year long contest so have to back him. Like that Day is a local and playing well. Zack is a Play on the fact the field is equal, a bunch of Players close to the same rating....why not a back to back. Marino is the sneaky pick on CBS sports plus is doing well at this time.

I also like them just can't play them all...Gay is a Great Play.

Round 1 play (2pts):

Kenny Perry to beat Tom Lehman +132 @ Extrabet [also available @ 5Dimes, Pinnacle, The Greek and WSEX]
Worth a punt at these odds. Lehman has won three of his last five starts on the Champions Tours, but this is not the Champions Tour, but the Colonial event where Lehman has finished in the top-10 just once in the last 15 years. Over that period, Perry has twice been a winner here, holds the course record and held the lowest winning-score in this event until Zach Johnson bettered it last year. In his own words two years ago, "when I come here, no matter how I'm playing, I feel like I can win". I can't see him winning this week, but he comes off a good performance in last week's Players Championship and another top-20 finish here looks probable.

[unofficial rd1 system play: Dufner tb Holmes +100]

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Outrights:

Brian Gay(40/1) e.w.
Paul Goydos(80/1) e.w.
Sergio Garcia(33/1) e.w.
Zach Johnson(20/1) e.w.
Fredrik Jacobson(100/1) e.w.

- - I spent all last weekend following Toms(80/1) and Wood(25/1) as I was hoping to bust out of a long, long, long slump in a big way, but it was not my time. Then I thought this week I would at least contribute some proper write-ups, but I never made the time. So quickly in reverse order, I'd say I've never seen Freddy swinging better but I've never seen his putting stroke look as frightful, Zach has been overdue but finally trending and has certainly proven he has his tracks, Sergio still looks fragile but somehow a better bet to have his best 72 holes in a big spot like the U.S. Open, Goydos said it for me with his quote "I have had my stretches where I played very well and had long stretches where I haven't", and Gay on view last week appeared to have a supremely confident swag notwithstanding a few destructive holes marring his tournament.

ok posted that before he doubled #9, guess I jinxed him.

Watch him finish on 9, hole out for a 59. Never hit land, got wet and couldn't get up and down.

Morning groups were HOT, will be interesting to see if the coin flips.

Caddy Fish Fry, Got HOT today...Rain is suppose to make an appearance tomorrow...Weekend will be close to 90...Half dressed women!!

2nd Round Match Ups

More than normal, need to add to the Dollar game I have working on 9 and 18.

Drinking coffee watching the news....they say it will rain but not till the second wave, so it may even out but that just might make the greens even more respeptive for those 62 Boys.

Round 2 play (4pts):

John Mallinger to beat Corey Pavin +100 @ Extrabet
Mallinger has been struggling for form for some time, but he returned to the Nationwide Tour last time out and it worked - he recorded a top-10 finish. Yesterday, even though his greens-in-regulation stats were poor, he still managed to finish the day in 21st place and eight shots ahead of Pavin who struggled in the easiest section of the day. Only five players shot a higher score than Pavin yesterday and it is difficult to see how he can bounce back from that opening round.

[unofficial rd2 system plays: Trahan tb Kirk -110; Gay tb Laird -109; Haas B tb Laird -120; Cink tb Palmer -145; Haas B tb Palmer -133; Marino tb Trahan -125]
