Peter Forsberg, Colorado Avalanche - Forsberg was injured during Saturday's loss to the Red Wings, leaving in the second period with an apparent charley horse. He is doubtful to play Sunday against the Capitals, but doesn't believe his injury is too serious or will cause him to miss too much time.

Thanks, Grooven.

Do you know if Jagr is playing today? Colorado is a great road team and great at bouncing back after a loss (8-2 against the spread on the road after a loss).

Leaning towards the Avs and Ducks.

Jaromir Jagr, Washington Capitals - Jagr practiced on Saturday as he recovers from a broken bone in his wrist but will not play in Sunday's game against the Avalanche. In fact, he isn't even able to take shots yet and the earliest he will return is about the middle of next week.

Colo is always vunerable on road with Aebischer in net against strong teams.

TB overtook WA for first in division last nite. So this WA team that lacks focus so much of the time, won't tonight. Will have more confidence with better goalie in net and Forsberg out. Jagr and Wells out when they beat Phila other day.

not sure what I'd take...good luck on what you do here!

Thanks for the info, guys.

Avs -.5 1 unit

Ducks -.5 2 units

Good luck everyone!

Sunny, looking for a few goals tonight with others having to pick up the slack for a missing Forsberg. 4-2 maybe.

Thanks sashi. I'm counting on Defensive game control and veteran puck control to "Easternize" the game total.3-1 Avs.
Best of luck with the Avs.

There are Avs scores with Aebisher on goal.
Do you see any decent team he beat? If I count correctly he's 0-9 vs. team with winning record.

3/7/2003 Tampa Bay 4 Colorado 3
3/2/2003 Chicago 2 Colorado 3 OT
2/21/2003 N.Y. Islanders 4 Colorado 1
2/9/2003 Colorado 4 Calgary 2
1/30/2003 N.Y. Rangers 3 Colorado 4 OT
1/12/2003 Carolina 2 Colorado 3 OT
1/2/2003 Colorado 1 Florida 4
12/27/2002 Colorado 1 Philadelphia 2 OT
12/14/2002 Calgary 1 Colorado 3
11/30/2002 Edmonton 1 Colorado 0
11/25/2002 Colorado 1 Chicago 0
11/14/2002 Nashville 1 Colorado 3
11/8/2002 Colorado 2 Anaheim 3 OT
11/6/2002 Colorado 2 Ottawa 5
11/4/2002 Colorado 2 Vancouver 4

Gorki, great work on the numbers. I agree that Aebisher is susceptible to giving up a few "bad goals," but am hoping that the Avs put a few in the net to offset the bad goals. ;)

Sunny, Gorki's numbers show that the Under has not hit with Aebisher in net in 2003 with a total of 5.:look:

Gorki, how do you feel about the Ducks at home after a loss?
