So. Cal
This would be the biggest upset of the season so far

I watched CU/CSU and CU/ASU and I thought they looked like a d2 team in both, and it didnt help that they LOST to a d2 team.

Georgia should be shamed!

colorado has a pretty good defense holding colorado st. to 14 and a pretty good offensive team in arizona st. to 21. it shouldn't come as a surpise that they held a 2nd tier sec team to not many points. it should come as a surprise that they almost had a chance to win.

once hawkins has a few years to run his offense and gets his personel they will be fine.

the sec isn't very deep. no conference is. outside of lsu and auburn there are no real contenders. tennessee and georgia will have fine years, but aren't in the real top 10 of college teams. no conference is very deep. in the pac-10 outside of usc and oregon its a joke. conference strength of schedule is a joke. just because lsu will beat arkansas if they play and usc will whoop oregon st. or something and arkansas is better than oregon st. doesn't make the sec any better because the bottom line is that neither top team will lose.

bdb,

agree with a lot of what you said, but i still believe that there was no precedent for cu's performance today. colorado state is a poor team, bottom line. and asu, while definitely a good offensive football team, killed themselves with penalties and turnovers in that game at cu. regardless, a very good effort by the buffs today. i think it says a lot for hawkins' ability to motivate a team in a tough situation.
