Do I really need to respond to this? Do you need some perspective on what the "right" has done to "fix" public education since Bush? And continue to do? I realize much of what you put forth is in fun, and I often laugh at most of it. I do respect you and your grasp on things. But blanket BS statements like this just piss me off. Are you possibly giving credit to any of the beneficiaries of "the left's death grip on american public education.?" Or are you just searching for the most ridiculous videos you can find to back up your point?

Funny how the right claims credit for "the successful people" in our country who came through the education system and are "putting people to work." All the while, ripping on teachers and our education system for being so self-serving and not caring about anything except themselves. WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT.

Come on now, you surely laughed when you saw the sign that said, This protest stinks like my pussy.

I have no doubt that your pussy stinks, skulnuts. You could try some hot water and soap, then maybe you wouldn't smell like a three day old can of tuna.

you guys rail on the corporations?...what about these over-priced college degrees?...most of these colleges have humongous endowments....they`re able to give in-state tuitions to illegal aliens because they`re overcharging american citizens......it`s all one big fail... a circular firing squad...

i say to them,in your next life,, before you incur a ton of debt in student loans, pick a major in college that translates into a good paying job(engineering, comp sci, nursing, accounting, etc)...... sadly, your speech comm./womyn's studies dual major with the minor in african american studies isn't going to cut it.......

this is why these yabos are such nincompoops...such useless, feckless, irresponsible wretches.....it`s because all this trash has been pumped into their empty heads by ex-hippie liberal professors.......

they`re a drain on society....not a benefit...

life is tough...learn a trade...

The student loan thing won't be a very large pop. Since you can't walk away from them like an underwater mortgage or huge credit card debt, most of that money will eventually be repaid.

Wease is right about one thing. If you take out $60K in student loans to major in a useless subject, you're an idiot.

$60K isn't too tough for a Chem Engr to repay, but it's Hell for a History major.

Duff my girls son is going for a bio engineering degree. He is already 160,000 in debt (60 grand wouldn't have gotten him very far) and this is without a masters degree. A lot of these kids are coming out with loans that will be just as much as houses. Imagine if kids could go to school for a decent price and these kids could afford houses when they got out. What a stimulus for the economy. The way schools are robbing the students those loans do nothing for the economy. This is a topic that just burns me up. What is worse is the loans are at 7 percent. Why is it so high but mortgages are so low?

with a house, you have collateral - the basic value of the house. What do you have as collateral on a 4 year degree?

$850 Billion + in student school loans.

Bigger than what is owed on credit cards. (USA Today)

Instead of making loans easier to get they should be cutting down on them. Again, the gov't is not working in the interest of the people. Who cares if some of these schools have to reduce their tuitions to attract students?
