Considering a Vegas trip. Looking at either circus circus , Riviera or stratosphere. Any comments, good or bad. First time to Vegas for both me and my girl. Thanks.

On the course!
Did you choose those 3 because they were cheap? I ask, because there is zero appeal in any of them. Circus circus would be off the list immediately. It's full of kids and slobs.

Strat is as close to the ghetto as a Las Vegas hotel can legally get by law. You seriously don't want to wander around outside of the lighting of the place!

That leaves the Riv. Good luck.

They all suck. Stay elsewhere.

Consider one of the Station casinos since those three are essentially off the strip bc they r so far north of everywhere else. Better yet, stay downtown. More fun anyway, nicer rooms, and better gambling.

Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
Circus was voted by locals

Circus was voted by locals

as the next casino to implode.....
strat is in an area I would not walk alone between sundown and 9am
Riviera had its day, decades ago

Orleans is very reasonable, great slots and poker room, on Tropicana, a very short cab ride from the heart of the strip...they have very cheap rooms, $40 or so. All station properties are reasonable and clean.

Tuscany very reasonable, short walk from strip, cheap and clean.

Downtown, hard to beat California or Main street for good gambling experience.

Lots of reasonable options out there with decent experience.

Don't miss Bellagio water show whatever you do.

If it is price you are after stay at Motel 6 right next to MGM.

It is your first time in Vegas so might as well be on the Strip.

Also right next to Motel 6 is the Travelodge which is also cheap.

Bottom line there are tons of places to stay in Vegas that are cheap, not hard to find at all.

Wow, some great info. Did partly choose these because of prices being the cheapest. Will look at some of the options mentioned.

Tons of options for sure, but I always say if it is your very first time going you might as well stay close to the Strip.

Thanks again all. Looks like we are going to go with Planet Hollywood. It appears to be on that main strip.

Las Vegas
Bally's, Flamingo are also good Hotels for the price IMO, center strip and cheaper than all their neighbors....you don't spend much time in your room so keep that in mind....Planet Hollywood is an excellent choice as well, but everything inside (dining/tables/shopping) will be a little more expensive...

Enjoy Vision!!
