Computer guys? virus?

My wife's yahoo account keeps sending out emails to people. There are two computers she uses, mine and her work computer. We have run virus programs on both but the emails are still being sent. Over the weekend both computers were turned off but people still received emails from her.

Is it a virus or is there something within her yahoo account that might be corrupted?

Well, it looks like it's a yahoo problem. There are a lot of people having the exact same problem. It happened with Yahoo in 06 as well. I guess we'll close her yahoo account.

I would try to change your password to the yahoo account

somebody hacked the server and they need to close the port, or whatever, to stop them.

it happens to me a few times a year and all i do is notify my webhost, problem solved.

they can't get into your email, it's just looking like the emails are coming from your wife's account.
