Re: computer help

blitz is correct! if you need a website to host your pictures, try asking your internet provider.

shoes, when you have the picture open, you need to right click on it and copy the address and then paste it in here with the image tags.

For example:
url]

But don't use spaces!

Find the image on the web, Stop.

Right click on image, Stop.

Select properties, Stop.

You will see the URL of the image(www.whatever.com/img),Stop.

Copy the URL of the image, stop.

Now your ready to put it on the post.........

Open your post, stop.

click on the IMG button above your reply, stop.

That will open a box, stop.

Right click inside the box and select paste, stop.

There you go, now you have inserted a picture in your post.

For instance, this is a picture of Turfgrass...
mowclete1.jpg

And this is your image....
sports_page_aa.html

:lol2

It appears that you probably want to send, not an image, but a
URL.

If you want to send one of the images on the page, you'll have to find a url of exactly the image, not just the webpage. Otherwise, judging by the source code of your text, it looks like you did it right.

FYI - You are not actually taking the picture. What you are doing is instructing a person's internet browser to go to the url and display the picture. If this website changes or takes the picture off of their site, it will be gone from here also.

Go back to the page that you want to take the picture from.

right click on the image you want

go to properties

copy the address (URL) portion

come back to your thread

post reply or new thread

Click IMG (Important - on your first attempt you had http:// in there twice. When you click IMG go ahead and delete the http:// that first pops up because when you paste you will already have the http:// in your url line)

Right click and paste

Submit

And admire your picture

Now that I've typed this I hope mine works
Good Luck

Only thing is that you should save the picture on your computer and upload it to your own website just in case something happens to the website you're getting the picture from!

Other guys have posted good info on how to save the picture. Good luck!
