It seems silly but my Computer loses time. The clock in the lower right hand corner drives me nuts (short trip) because I will have a conference call or somehting and suddely realize I am late because I'm watching the computer time. It does not do it consistently. I'll set it and it is fine for a couple of days and i'll forget about it then I'll notice it is wrong again.

Any ideas or suggestions. Computer is only a year old and works great.

Thanks,
Bill

goofy's wright, sounds like a battery problem. Might want to check the time in your BIOS settings also.

snoozing,

Changing the battery will help, but computers
do not keep accurate time because of their
"clocking speed".
In order for it to keep up on a 24hr. timebase it would need to have a clocking
speed of at least 1 gigahertz using what
is called a "divide by" circuit to keep
the time.
Computers do not have a dedicated circuit to
do this. If you use the computer to keep time, do a weekly time check.
Better yet, get a watch or desk clock.
