I curently have a home network consisting of 2 PCs which share files & internet access through a hub. After renovating, the 2 PCs are now in different rooms. I would still like to share files and net acces via a wireless network. What is the most cost efficient way of doing this?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah, my PC which is wired to the net is running Win XP Pro, and my remote PC is running Win98.

Thank you.

Just moved my businees into my house and wired it up on a wireless network instead of dropping cable to all three floors. It is fantastic. We have the hub on the middle floor with computers on all three.

The hub will run you $250-350 and a card for each computer should be around $75-100. We have had very few hiccups with it and have been running it for approximately six weeks. Your OS does not matter to the wireless network. It only substitutes plugging a cable into the back of your computer.

I will try and locate the receipts to give you a better idea on pricing.
