things are getting a little better for ol' loophole now that these ugly pups are starting to perform. plays on all conference home dogs last night went 8-4-1 by my local closing lines. these plays are often ugly but have performed fairly well over time. i see seven games for tonight:

youngstown st +1-
s alabama +2
san jose st +9
cal +2-
portland +5-
idaho +4-
tenn-martin +3-

i would expect a winning majority from these seven games. remember, when playing home dogs of the ugly variety you'll probably get the best number closest to tipoff.

Good system, less capping....knowing when to purchase the game is the key....

I have a feeling Youngstown may get bet by tip-off.

a veritable feast of 16 conference home dogs today, most as homely as can be expected. it's likely that the majority will be winners, but the challenge is trying to cherry-pick through them. i put a star by the ones that especially appeal to me.

rice +1-*

SOMEWHERE AROUND THE S.E.C.
the biggest sin in bettin college basketball in conference play is to give points on the road. that is a big NO NO.

very seldom will i ever lay points on the road. it will have to be almost a lock before i will do so.

taking the points at home is a solid bet over time.

Home dogs

Loop, i posted early in the season in Nickelback's thread about HOME conference dogs. I have tracked what I call the big conferences Big 10 ,12 , SEC, Big East & ACC for a few years now. I found the Home dogs covered over 60% in each of those years. This week the record was only7-6 , but I believe it will get better as the season goes on. I basically won't bet any thing but them. My big question is when to play these games , in the morning or wait until the public drives the number up ?

thanks & good luck

most of the time it seems if the road favorite is a top 25 team that has a lot of public exposure, the home dog line will rise, so in those games it's usually better to wait until game time. otherwise, it's most often hit or miss.
