im not convinced there was a correct side to this game. didnt have a side, and can still make a good argument for both teams getting the money. a true back and forth game where both teams pissed away chances.

What happened to Big Red's running agame--only 37 yds rushing and had to score on 2 long passes and a half back pass-tells me alot that Big Red is not back -still missing some important links.

Thank you sir. :mj06:

Tough to argue that Nebraska +6.5 wasnt the right side, Gman... even without the kicker miscues, they would have covered that.

They should've won outright if it werent for stupid Nunn... which gave me a heart attack.

nothing personal at all. just as easily could have been a TD+ win for texas. you dont cover many games against top 5 teams when you average 1.6 yards per rush. weird game. nebraska could have won outright just as easily as they could have lost the cover.

I didnt take it personally, I see where you are coming from... neither team played well...

I'm just saying, there was almost no way Nebraska doesnt cover the 6.5..

Even with the 7 botched points on ST's... Texas would have been leading 26-21 (assuming Nebraska doesnt go for the 2)... and Nebraska actually has to do something on their last drive for the win (as opposed to trying to run the clock out and fumbling to set up the GW FG).

Good luck the rest of the day, my friend.

Here's the way I see it. From a viewing perspective a good entertaining game. From a wagering point of view, it wasn't a good day to be on the Horns. The score could have very easily have been something like 30-14. Think about the 3 scores Neb had. 1st he split two defenders, one of which had gone for an interception. 2nd TD run there wer 3 missed tackles at least. The 3rd was a trickery play that db bit on. Never the less they scored. You could add 7 missed points to Texas total, add 4 more for what should have been a TD with a 1st and goal from the 2 yd line. then subtract 3 because the last FG wouldn't have been needed. Score 30-14 approximately, giving Neb 2 Td of the three that they scored.. Would, coulda, shoulda, that's why they play the game though. Congrats if you had Huskers and condolences if you had the Horns. We'll get em next time if they play each other.

i agree, TX easily coulda won by 14 ... NBs tds were kinda weird, crappy tackling etc ... TX runs kick back to ten yl, fg, misses two others fgs, misses XP, doesnt get td on 1 and goal at 2yl ... doesnt get td g2g late ... holds NB to minus rushing thru most of game ... TX pissed me off, but gun to head I woulda bet it again from what I saw
