Ok, so with the numbers big on Denver, but HUGE on Atlanta, why has the line on Denver moved 3? points, but the line on Atlanta not budged at all??

Things that make you go Hmmmm....

Can you or someone educate me here please? What to these percentages represent? Total handle? Dollars? Percentage of orders? This is very interesting info, but I would like some insight to attempt to analyze. Also, where is this data gleaned?

Thanks!

Numbers quoted are % of bettors who took each team, not % of money on each team. One sharp could take Team A large, and 4 regular Joes take Team B small, and it would show 80% on Team B.

Line moving or not moving though, in combination with these numbers, can indicate where the sharp money is going. IE> 80% on Team B, but the line holds steady, or moves towards Team A, indicates a large player (likely sharp) has dropped a load of money on Team A. That's what I was getting at comparing the two games here today. To me it appears Detroit is a sharp side. But both sharps and public appear to be in agreement on Denver.

Of course, a move across the 0 (from Dal -1 to Den -2?) is not as big as it appears (since the line is never +? or -?), and it crosses no key numbers. Meanwhile, crossing the 3 would be a HUGE move, so the comparison is thrown off a bit just by that. A move across the 3 from 2? to 3? would to me be more major that a move from 1 to +2?.

As for where to get the numbers...it's a website I just discovered a few weeks ago, that has had quite a bit of success thus far with this type of analysis. I don't think I can post the website name here as it would be in competition with this site... but let's just say you gotta like Sports and have some deep Insights into the games to find it. Even once you do find the website the info that shows the complete board is a bit hard to locate, not really obvious.
