at wagerline this year, the public is app. (im patchworking this) a woeful 9-24 ATS at +60%

this week there are many over 60%, Spartans are 81% !!!!

the following game is a puzzler b/c line shift should favor 'Cuse but instead it has dropped a point to NC, are the wise guys pounding it? appears so ... it is only game with this anomaly

same thing happened the other night with Oregon State and Temple. I watched the lines from 8pm wednesday night (live) until 230 in the morning. 78% of the money was going onto Oregon State yet the line kept falling. I have a connection at one of the bigger off-shore books and he confirmed that the majority of the publics money was ALL OVER Oregon State. So i thought it was a wise guy move, (because he also confirmed some of the bigger wagerer's were putting large sums on Temple) So i thought id tail the big boys, and look what it got me Jack crap! So sometimes it pays off, and sometimes it doesnt. So just a little FYI.........I had capped the game showing OSU -14, yet i got that tip and went off the tip==and lost. So my suggestion is just cap the games like you normally would and go with your normal way of doing it...............just my two cents......good luck!

ur right, Ive made all the mistakes and will make new ones tomorrow ... I recall long ago I talked about Buffs beating Neb. in Lincoln and had it as my big pick weeks approaching, then @ last sec Danny Sheridan says how Huskers wil crush them ad naseum, so I change bet and Buffs win something like 17-3, IM guessing, too many games under bridge ...

Anyhow, I recall (and I never lie about my bets) LYING to my pals saying I really did cash on it cuz I had talked up game for 6 weeks and didnt want to admit i pussed out to a bad haircut .... hehe, Im not abve the truth

Don't know what to think about wagerline anymore. Used to use it like the bible. But last year it wasn't near as successful. Big public favorites were winning all of the time. Yesterday oregon st was big, but talked to my local and he said that he was getting nothing but Temple action? Now I can only come to three conclusions, A. he's got the biggest squares ever, B. He has alot more contrarian players than all other books put together. or C he was just lying to me. I'm probably going with C because I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.
