Interesting to see the favorites of the staunch conservatives in the CPAC straw vote, important to republicans hoping to become president next election:

1st - Ron Paul.
2nd - Mitt Romney.
3rd - Sarah Palin.

Excited, righties? At least you can get behind the guy from Massachusetts that got behind health care reform when he had the chance.

What, Michelle Bachmann wasn't on the ticket?

Pawlenty is still not that well known, and is working mainly with party big shots internally to try to gain favor. We won't know for a while how things will shake out. I still don't consider him to be a real strong contender when all is said and done, he is not very magnetic, and is a little too Minnesota-nice for hardliners, I'd expect.

I do like Romney too

Romney and Pawlenty are my favorites, anyone would be better than Obama, I would even take Hillary Clinton, I am reading up on Ron Paul, he may be the answer we need, dont know yet

Ahh neo-con weasel is back for more. I do wish you would stick around this time, instead of tucking your tail and running away scared.

The point is your little hit and run attacks. They make you look like a little girl. Which is ironic since you are a huge neo-con war monger.

Wease, I personally would hope you would post in here more. I think you have a sensible take on most things. I know you dismiss Ron Paul as a common candidate, but he does have a lot of sensible ideas, and in my opinion more than his crazy ones.

I think it will take one of the parties money backers to break away - and soon - to back someone enough to make them relevant. Someone like Paul has the ability and intelligence, someone like Palin does not.

I see where Brown voted with the democrats on the jobs bill - he may be a lot smarter than I give him credit for - taking an opportunity and making the most of it. Why not get in the mix and make waves for the next year or so?
