Contrarian System Debut

I have been tweaking a system that I'm going to try out officially for the first time today. Basically, I look at my power rankings and some trends against the lines' and I side with Vegas when they differ enough or when a good trend plays into my side or both.

Here are the plays so far, of course, with it being a contrarian system, you are likely to get better lines _ sometimes much better _ on some of these as the day goes on. So I will not play most of them til later in the day.

Obviously, I'm gonna tread lightly being that its the first time I've put these into play:


UCLA -1.5 (Best Bet)
Mich +14
San Fran +18.5
SE mizzou St. +12.5
Clemson

Next Tier:
CS Fullerton +9.5
BC +13

Let's see what happens....

ouch. rough first day, going 2-6, losing by a hook on SE MO and winning backdoor style on BC. i'm gonna have to go back and look at each of these games and see how I should adjust this. By nature, this is going to ask some bad teams to win,and that killed it tonight.
I still have faith that over time it will be profitable though, may just need some fixin.

Worse comes to worse, it sucks like this every night (it was money for most of this week when I wasnt playing the damn plays) and I'll fade it for $$$.
