10,000 people or so, all keeping a secret for 50 years that the moon landings were faked would be a far greater achievement than actually landing on the Moon.

Here's another cool thought:
We successfully landed men on the moon in the late sixties and early seventies, and have been fumbling around in the dark for the last 43 years.
