Cooz -

Looked at the O/U for UConn/So ILL and didn't find much. Then I looked at the first half and fell in love with the under. Take a look at it and let me know what you think.

When I started looking at this game the first half O/U was 70 now the only line I can find is at 68. Still like it but . .

jedi that halftime number seems to be dropping and quickly....i'll take a closer look .....but take a look at the nova/temple game....currently at temple -2, 129.5....am i missing something?...nova already beat them head to head this year..70-66...both are philly teams so home court for temple yeah...but not as much as if they were playing say tennessee tech....

and lets look deeper into that game...in thier head to head game...temple scored 66 points...guess what ...greer had 29 points...8 rebounds...and 7 assists..can you say production? i just checked his status for the game and he is expected to miss due to his ankle injury the other night at louisville....now i know this is a crude method but lets take his production out of that first game....thats a 70-37 score...which comes to 107 total...now lets take out what greer has averaged for the year in points...22.6 lets round it off to 23...thats 70-43= 113 total....i think it is safe to assume that if greer is out then temple walks...walks..and walks some more up the court....i think nova is a great pick tonight...i know the allure of the big games are tough pass..but if we are interested in making money i think this is the game to look at..

my leans are NOVA
and the under.... i know this play seems to easy..and that all the so-called "easy picks" in the postseason are not hitting...but seriously i must be missing something

i think if we put are heads together on this one we can do some damage...i'll keep checking for updates on Greer... and i'll cap that under first half on the huskies

Don't worry about the UConn game, its just to close to call at 68.

L10 average both teams = 68.7
L10 away average both teams = 66.5

If the line goes back up to 70 I'll pull the trigger. Until then I'm off the UConn 1st half play.

Be back in a bit on the Nova/Temple game.

Just Numbers

Just Numbers

Nova is 4-0 ATS and 3-1 SU vs Temple since 1997
Nova is 3-0 ATS and 2-1 SU vs Temple last 3 season
Nova is 14-16 ATS for the season
Nova is 5-7 ATS on the road

Temple is 15-11 ATS for the season
Temple is 8-3 ATS at home

The over is 2-0 over last 3 season when these teams play

Betting public is correct when moving the total in Temple games 28.6% of the time over past 3 season (12-30), and 38.2% since 1997 - - - advantage over

The over was 7-4 in games and 4-1 in Nova road games
The over was 7-8 in Temple games and 1-3 in home games

Nova's scoring average was 71.3 for season and 66.2 on the road

Temples scoring average was 66.2 for the season and 70.2 at home

Guard Lynn Greer, leg, doubtful for Fri vs Nova, 3/21 [vegas insider]

With ya on the Nova play. Without Greer I think Nova wins SU.

I would normally go for the over in this game but without Greer I think Temple slows the game down. The under might be the right play but that over trend does concern me.

THE FIRST HALF UNDER ON UCONN IS RIGHT THERE .....SO I AGREE ON THE NO PLAY UNLESS IT MOVES AGAIN....

I ALSO THINK THAT NOVA IS THE STRONGER PLAY HERE THAN THE UNDER....IF GREER PLAYED I WOULD ACTUALLY BE ON THE OVER....AS I THINK THIS TOTAL WOULD BE IN THE 130'S ...BUT WITHOUT HIM WHAT IS TEMPLES BEST CHANCE AT A WIN? SLOW THE TEMPO AND PLAY THAT ZONE D....LOGICALLY IT WOULD SEEM...BUT I THINK A SMALL PLAY ON THE UNDER FOR ME...AND A HEALTHY PLAY ON NOVA....LOOK AT THAT FIRST MEETING...GREER HAD 29 OF 66 POINTS THATS ALMOST 50% OF THE SCORING FOR THE OWLS ...HE ALSO HAD 7 ASSISTS...THATS ANOTHER 14 POINTS POTENTIALLY MISSING....

ANY OTHER GAMES YOU LOOKING AT?

Nova +2 3 units (watching closely, if Greer is OUT playing another 2 units)
Nova under 129 1 unit

Small plays on:
Texas +4.5 (IMO - Oregon's not that good on the road)
Illinios +6

The points in the Texas/Oregon game look a little low to me so thought I would take a look at it. How about you?

THE OVER IN THE DUCKS GAME LOOKS GOOD ....BUT IT SEEMS TO BE A "NO BRAINER" OVER WHICH I AM ALWAYS WEARY OF...BUT MAYBE IM JUST THINKING TO MUCH...BUT I THINK IT SHOULD GO OVER...

ON MY WAY OUT FOR THE NIGHT...GOOD LUCK TO US TONIGHT

HOLLY COW the Nova/Temple O/U for the 1H is down to 60 (vwager)! When I first looked at this line it was at 70. Maybe I'll take the over at this point. Never thought it would go that low.
