I had to stop in a Costco over the holidays that was not my normal Costco that I visit. Actually there are two I frequent. When I got back to the meat/seafood department I was amazed at the better selection they had in Buckhead than in the suburb stores. Better selection, grades, choices and quality for sure, as well as more different choices in certain product lines.

Question is, do some stores get preferential treatment than others with products, and better meats/seafoods? I could be wrong, and it could have been a thing over the holidays, but I sure will make a trip there again when in the area, which is quite often. Just wondered others thoughts in their cities.

Our regional buying office is in Atlanta and all the buildings in Atlanta should have the same products. Some items sell out quicker in certain locations based on demand. It could be an operational issue of that specific building if the selections are not the same in each building. quality issues would definitely be operational as all products are from the same vendors. You may see one or two locations that are the highest sales volumes receive special or hot items due to limited availability but that does not happen often.

Pittsburgh, Pa.
Three in the Pittsburgh area.
Two in affluent areas (Robinson / Cranberry), other low income (Homestead).
I've been to both.
No obvious differences that I was aware of.
