Thanks for the heads up on the Muncie Central/Milan game,aka the "real hoosiers".
Simply fascinating to here from players that played in the game and to see that footage from 1954.
I really felt for the Plump kid being instructed to stand there and hold the ball for 4 minutes with 15 thousand fans screaming at him to move it.
But what a strategy,it really did rattle Muncie.
Funny to see how Hollywood puts its spin on the truth to put a more captivating story on the screen.
I thoroughly enjoyed the documentary and thanks for bringing it to the attention of the forum.
