Just chucking these in one topic while I work..

League:

City v Country - am playing the over in this match-up. Plenty of attacking talent on hand - Blacklock, Kimmorley et al - with a lot to prove. Add in a lack of preparation time on tactics, systems etc compared to teams playing Game 2 of State of Origin (where the pts line is only 2 pts lower) and the increase in points scored this year, value in ...
PLAY OVER 42.5

Rugby:

Australia v British Lions series - not often I'd recommend a "future" bet at this low price but again, believe there is some value here. The Lions will be formidable but do have areas of weaknesses the Aussies will target. Add in the home advantage and the fact that many of the Lions side will be playing with niggling/notable injuries after a long and taxing season then I rate the Wallabies firm favourites to take the series.
PLAY AUSTRALIA $1.65 (2 units)

Anders, been out of touch travelling - so have not seen/read much lately, but on the Lions thing - does Australia even care about that series, as opposed to doing fine-tuning to squad?

You guys must have been wondering what I was doing; posting a play for a game that had already started

Got so tied up yesterday that never noticed the start time of the City v Country game when I snuck into work yesterday at 5pm NZ time to printout some odds and info. Luckily for me, I jumped on the play as soon as I saw the total and saw later that evening that the game was going to be on Sky at 2.30pm Sat. Thought it was a bit strange at the time but hey, after too many Black Russians I wasn't thinking at maximum clarity

Turned on the telly 10 mins after "kick-off" today, saw City up 10-0; good I thought. Then thought - "hmm, looks a bit dark..". What a dolt! Penny finally dropped at that stage. But rather than find out the score, decided to make it a live match after all and watched it as such. LMFAO!!
Best of all - I won! Comfortably too. Most impressed with Jason Ryles, while Kimmorley was outstanding and gave me a little more insight on a State of Origin play.

AV2 - I think the Wallabies will be well "up for it". Still think memories after the last "Campese blunder" series loss to the Lions all those years ago. Also, given that the Tri-Nations is now a yearly event and they play Sth African and NZ opponents week-in, week-out in the Super 12, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Aussies rate this as their biggest challenge of the year.

Coming soon .... a play on the Bombers v Saints match
