I have to consider the Cowboys a nice play , getting 8 1/2 points.
Yes ,Washington has been winning and on a nice run,BUT...playing a rival like Dallas(sure the 'boys' are pretty bad),I HAVE to take all those lovely points.
History tells me this game should be close as I don't expect to see this game played without a number of mistakes.Aside from the turnovers, I can see each and every yard paid for with a physical price.
Give me Dallas + 8 1/2 and I shall take my chances.
I have a game I like the TOTAL on ,so I'll post it just after I go over a few things.
Good luck all....Spanky....

Spanky,
I have to agree with you. Cowgirls are probably my top play in the NFL this week. Skins go from the doormat of the league, getting all kinds of points when they were 0-5. Still getting points last week versus Philly, and now all of a sudden they are 8- pt favorites. I think they have turned the corner, but to go from not being a favorite all year to an 8- point favorite in a division rivalry game. That is VEGAS talking to us. They will get rich this weekend on this game. Been a skins fan my entire life. I hope they win, but I don't think they cover. Cowgirls plus the points.

The problem is Quincy Carter is starting. I could easily see him turning the ball over a few times leading to easy scores for Washington. Enough to cover that number.

I really don't see Wash. doing bunches of scoring with the 'o',I really think points will be at a preimum here, thus, getting the 8 1/2 is where I want to be.I would bet this game ,at this number even if Leaf was starting. Spanky....

this game sure is getting a lot of attention.

in my view, the equalizer here is 10.5. that is the number that will make me think; one td + one fg= 10 points.

vegas came in right with these numbers, as the 8 1/2 point temptation arouses a few people, completely disregarding wash achievements of late. it might as well be 7 1/2. 9 may look a bit more interesting, 10 a potential tie, and 10 1/2 a potential killer.

may i suggest, if you like big dogs, that you look at:

carolina +10.5
arizona +13 1/2
buffalo +9
atlanta +8

these have many circumstances/reasons for potential upsets, much more so than this game, both as m.l. plays and to beat the spread.

no way i will consider prior confrontations. wash is going for the win, they have the tools to do it and face a dallas team that is in a shambles. a small margin of victory is not acceptable for a team making a run for it and has everything going for them.

they should clear their 10 points without a great effort, and are also capable of putting up a few up if circumstances dictate, i.e., seattle, giants.

i have to stay with the "class act" in the nfl against the nfl clowns, with no excuses or reasons for a letdown here. there is just too much class difference.

looks like wash "lost it". what a big confidence
blow, not being able to reverse the stupid trend with dallas. no such thing with n.e.; i can't believe they reversed the jets momentum, came back and then held on. unbelievable.

also took a blow with clev. had them in teasers, but there are no 16 point teasers available yet, which is also what i needed for wash.

if buff can stay within 21 points of sanfran, i will salvage one teaser. wake up call for wash, clev and me. pitt not covering managed to round my contest picks at 2-3. it could have been worse.
