Winter storm in Dallas area... Freezing temperature is expected for the next 2 days. Assumption here is the Cowboys will have difficulty at practice Wednesday and Thursday.

Also, don't expect the return of QB Q. Carter to produce instantaneous points for the 'boys. Redskins have played exceptionally well of late, and I do expect them to continue here against a team that's going through "evaluation".

LOL to all...

Bluegrass!
Be very very careful backin' a bad team layin' a TD +. Remember, Cowgirls have already beaten this team once this year. It wasn't the prettiest game I've ever seen, but a win is a win is a win....Last week the Cowgirls nearly came back to beat the Broncs, and that was with LEAF runnin' the offense. With the exception of a blind mute, anybody is better at handling the play callin' duties than Leaf! They also gave the Raiders, Giants, Falcs, and Bucs all they wanted just coming up a little short.

Skins have won the last five straight, which was a huge difference compared to their earlier games of the season. Skins would be ripe for a major letdown game against a team they feel is much much inferior in terms of talent and ability. If I had to pick one game to stay away from this Sunday, it would probably be this one, especially at -8.....

no need for storms. don't let anyone talk you out of it. this is a solid play, despite arguments you will hear about ats trends, etc.

Don't think 'Skins will suffer a letdown at all because they will remember the butt of jokes they were on that MNF game plus already losing to Dallas. Their defense is better than Denver's also. That being said, I wouldn't lay over 7 either with their run run run offense. Perhaps under.

I'm heading to this game this weekend . . . these teams usually play each other tough with Dallas coming out on top. For some reason Washington cannot finish the job on beating Dallas. Washington is playing great ball and I know Snyder and the 'Skins want this game badly. Dallas has Quincy Carter back in and this team is better than their record shows. They just don't have a quarterback.

This is alot of points and I believe the line is inflated here. I agree be a bit cautious here for the 'Skins seem to always screw themselves out of a win. And if I was a betting man . . . which I am . . . I love that Dallas is getting that many points in this one.

one additional comment and i'm outta here:

this is the best washington team in recent memory, which probably goes back to the days of george allen, in my opinion.

dallas' recent experience with teams of this caliber (philly) has been desastrous, and if wash could clear 10 points vs. philly's defense, this one should come in around -13 to -17. this line is not inflated at all.

dallas' offense should commit enough errors against this defense to give wash an additional 10-13 points on top of an expected 10-17 offensive points.

as far as the 8 points: indeed this is a dangerous number, but usually for teams that are already "in" and are caught napping, looking forward, etc. there is nothing for wash to look forward to, except assuring each win from hereonin. wash is not in this category by any means.

When Dallas plays Philly, Philly seems to dominate Dallas, as of late. When Washington plays Dallas, for some reason or another Washington seems to stumble in these games. In the last 7 games Washington has not beaten Dallas. Washington has lost every way imaginable during this stretch. Simply these are division rivals with teams that hate each other. Jerry Jones and his COWGIRLS will be up for this game and when I see a team that is getting 8 in this hated rivalry against a team that has had trouble beating them 7 of the last 8, including this year, the spread seems too high at 8. I believe Washington can win this game, but it will be close. Dallas's defense should keep them in this one. Also Ryan Leaf on the bench is key. If Dallas does on thing right this season, they should get rid of this guy.

Being a BIG Skins fan from the George Allen days, and after taking much abuse this year from friends and work,I will be laying off this game. If I had to bet it I would take the 8'.
This will be the 1st. time this year the Skins will be the favorite. They will win this game but the #s tough.
So far Dallas is ave. more yds. rushing and giving up less yds. rushing.
It will be a battle as usual

How about a tease with Pitt who should run
over Minn outdoors in Dec? Wash -1 + Pitts
even, think this is solid...Quincy Carter is
no more a pro QB than Leaf....Wash gets this
one...

If I had a choice and the COWGIRLS do, I would rather take my chances with Carter or Stoerner than I would with Leaf. Leaf is just terrible from San Diego to Tampa to Dallas, this guy just knows one thing . . . how to lose.

Huge 'Skins fan myself, from DC Area. Grew up with the Over the Hill Gang. That being said, best Redskins team I ever saw was the 1991 Super Bowl Team. This one has a ways to go my man but I feel it will make the postseason. Who knows, they do have a great defense.
