season: 26-26-1 -0.49 units

i never watch the nba....ever....unless kobes playing.....shoot me for caring......but i flipped on the last 5 minutes and never been so appalled at how bad not only the nets are, but basketball in the modern era in general....for them to lose that game was the ultimate joke....oh well, i've watched my five minutes of basketball this year.....

Sometimes it's easy to forget where you're goin'
Sometimes it's harder to leave
And evrytime you think you know just what you are doin'
That's when your troubles exceed
They push me in a corner
Just to get me to fight but
They won't touch me
They preach and yell
And fight all night
You can't tell me
I lose my head
I close my eyes
They won't touch me
'Cause I got somethin'
I been buildin' up inside
I'm already gone

like a lot of games unfortunately tonight:

Heat pk + 100 x 2

Pacers $ line + 250 x 2

Memphis + 6.5 -105 x 2

Lakers + 8 -107 x 2

Knickerbockers/Suns over 208.5 -110 x 3

Dallas$line/Orlando$line/"Detroit basketball"$line x3 pays 3

got some GNR lyrics today huh crack?? Liked the 2 Pac yesterday as well

In the process of reading "Slash" by Slash and his ghost writer right now. Its a long book 500 pages, and its basically one long heroin trip. Interesting read, but I mean he was really really fcked up on heroin. Surprised he's not dead. The most interesting thing is how much he actually compliments Axl in the book.

Interesting read about his take of the breakup with Axl.

Axl's biography book WAR (willaim axel rose) comes out in early January. Interesting to hear his take.

Big GNR fan

yep, Slash is a very close friend of Scotty Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver of course)... they love heroin; several times in rehab but as Scotty says a 1000 times before, "i love heroin more than life"

any way, outta get me, love that song (but i do not like Axl, never liked him)...

BTW, good luck 2nite !!

I've never been a GNR fan, but heard Slash on Stern last week and he came off much more intelligent than I had anticipated. He made the book sound interesting, even though I am not a GNR fan. I am about 3/4 of the way through it. It is interesting, but could be a lot shorter than the 500 pages. A lot of repetition. Just like: "So it was a Tuesday, and I was looking to score some smack......" , or "So I just got back from doing a gig, and I was looking to score some smack......", or "I was on tour in Vancouver and was trying to score some smack........." And when he isn't scoring, he is thrilled to tell all about how he could break every piece of glass in the hotel room, or tear up rental vans to the point where nobody would rent to them anymore, or tearing up his apartment so badly that he would be evicted after a month or two.

He does speak well of Axl, yet also makes excused for his erratic behavior by saying that he just doesn't understand that he is doing anything wrong. Like not showing up for gigs and practice and the such. He says that he and the other guys in the band many times wanted to kick him out, but couldn't because he just acted like he didn't do anything wrong. The truth is, they all realized they wouldn't have all become millionaires without Axl singing in that band. After they were all set financially they had no problem splitting.

ANyway, there's the Cliff's Notes if you want to save yourself a lot of time reading.
