good thing you didn't have s.d. and watch flutie get upstaged by johnson. not a single running play from flutie until that final miracle td.

all this while johnson is giving his heart out for the win. other than losing the game, i was really disappointed the way flutie performed. maybe buffalo reminded him of the old heart-stopping last minute fgs and was longing for an encore. lucky he/they got away with the win.

to be honest, i did not like the buffalo play at all, but i loved the m.l. in n.o., n.e. and wash. i am looking for another book that will take those, as aces doesn't offer it, and i'm stuck with them for the time being.

well, there is always next week, or in my case tomorrow, if you read the thread.

Flutie had a solid game, 21-33..254 yds passing..1 TD..no INT's...the mad scramble at the end..and his team won. Decent enough job I think.

And very classy of Johnson to run-off the field to the lockeroom after the final whistle, while Flutie was on his way to shake hands with the Bills players...

IMO, Buffalo was very lucky to be in the game at all. SD could have easily gone up 17-0 instead of 13-0. Just a matter of San Diego not putting a team out when they have them on the ropes. You see it time and time again letting a team hang around and then they start gaining a little confidence and make it close. Lets also not forget SD had a couple of their best defensive players (Seau and Wiley) hurt during the game.
