stallone going to the well yet again?...I generally hate sports movies(seldom done realistically)...always ham-handed and sappy as hell.....based on jack`s opinion I`ll skip this one and wait for stallone`s next blockbuster("Dude,Wheres My Walker")......

last stallone movie I saw that I kinda liked was "Eye See You".....I`m a sucker for the "stranded in a snow storm with an unknown killer" theme...

thanks for the heads up,bud.:toast:...I suspected all the Oscar hype was b.s....

I haven't seen them all but Christian Bale was great as always but I think Tom Hardy did better than both. Rocky is going to get one of those awards because the academy likes him and there will never be another chance. Good for him. :0074 I like the guy but don't think of him as an A actor. JMO. :0008

The movie in itself was not award winning by any stretch but I thought it was Stallones best performance since the original.

Back in the late 70's Rocky 2 was filmed right around the corner from my house, our back yards were backed up against one another and I had a bit part as a kid during the stick ball game
