This game is all about revenge. Creighton has beaten Bradley 10 of last 11 SU. In the last game at Creighton, the Braves faced not only the Bluejays, but the refs. Bradley had 30 personal fouls called against them (getting 44 pts at the line!!!) vs 16 pf's called against Creighton; Three Technicals vs one for Creighton; and one intentional foul vs. none for Creighton. The homer refs gave the four point win to Creighton. Because of foul trouble, O'Bryant only played 21 minutes and had 4 points. He could not get in rhythm. In that game, the Jays still had starting pt guard Datzler; he has been out since his PCL knee injury on 2/11 which explains the big slide in Creighton's end of year performances.
The Braves average more possessions vs. common opponents are playing with confidence having won their last 5 games SU. Their maturing starting five with NBA potential players in Sommerville and O'Bryant as well as a great scorer in Ruffin and solid point guard in senior Bennett are peaking at the right time. This all adds up to a major win for Bradley.
