Croatia -- What a Disappointment

Croatia is about as sorry a team as I've seen in this Cup series (okay, excpet for Saudia Arabia). I'm stunned at how badly they are being dominated by Mexico. The Mexicans could very well have a 3-0 lead in this game. Croatia can't even control a midfield pass.

Does anyone have thoughts on how teams behave in the NEXT game after what appears to be a total mismatch? Does the loser rebound and the winner fall back to form? I have a hard time believing Mexico is as good as they are showing, but I do see opinions here that are to the contrary.

Amazing.

Hi Nolan,

I myself expected more out of Croatia as they seemed like an old team on the pitch. You can count Mexico advancing to the 2nd round as Croatia will have a tough task ahead of them with 2 tough games against quality opponents.

The sight of Suker being substituted indicates to me that this team is demoralized and hope is lost. As I said earlier, the winner of this game will move onto the 2nd round. Now is Mexico so good, or did they play against an inferior team? The answer to this question will be answered when Mexico plays Italy. Croatia is done....

Over-slept the 1st half but was able to witness a terrible Croatian side in the 2nd half. This team is past it. Their WC is over and Mexico should claim the 2nd spot and advance to the next rd. Mexico/Ecudaor is now the most important game of the group.
