Cubs- beginning of the end

Is this the beginning of the end of the Cubs this year or will they make another comeback? A few days ago in another thread I had listed how last week, this week and the next are all going to be hard games for the Cubs to win. And so far it is turning out exactly like that. The Cubs bats are cold, and the pitching has been about the same.

So is this just the same old Cubs slide we see all the time, especially with St. Louis on a tear lately, or will they stage yet another come back in time to make the playoffs?

don't remember if it was your thread I chimmed in on or not, but none the less, it looks as if the Cubs will mirror the Cubs of past and just fade away.
