trust me, being a big cubs fan isn't the greatest...

i had a feeling they would lose today, when everybody on the cubs broadcast team is saying how wood hasn't lost since he got off the DL. Cubs have their trouble's against lefty's too though. I still think they will make the wildcard though. after tonight they are only 2 games back and with 60 some games to go, i have to say they are looking allright. but man it is so frusturating. the problem is everybody sets the limits so high for them that anything but a world series would be disaster. i really wish the season would of started with everybody playing..

The Cubs are probably second on my hit-list...however, they are tops on my list on Friday day games. I don't think I have one one Friday day Cubs game this year. They still trail the Giants though overall. They blow a five run lead to Colorado 2 weeks backs in the 8th inning and I thought I would get payback last night with the Pads loading the bases with no outs in the 9th last night. But nooooo.....I am so looking forward to the next Friday home Cubs games vs. the Giants...let me count the ways to get screwed in that one.

But I have to say, Sammy hitting a 2 run homer in extra innings last August to cover the run line still rings true...

I'm with you RS. But they're just one of my top three for the year. Philly and Cinci have also made my book happy. I'm like Rex. Everytime I bet on one of these clowns they play like minor leaguers, but when I go against them you'd swear they were world champs. After a few beers last night just before the game started I was on my way to the computer to wager on the flubbies when my brother stopped me for another round. Thanks bro.
