Ok, well here's some numbers:

SC: 66.3 ppg, 43.2 fg%, 34.8 3pt%, 66.8 FT%, 29.1 reb/g avg, 13.4 TO/g

Cuse: 73.7 ppg, 44.7 fg%, 33.5 3pt%, 67.4 FT%, 32.4 reb/g avg, 15.2 TO/g

Guess these numbers dont mean much at this point in the season, but I always like to look and see what a team has done for the entire year, whats more important are the last 8 games or so.

SC is 5-3 in thier last 8 games, with big wins over ole miss and kentucky, then obviously on a run in the NIT with 7+ point wins over Virginia UNLV and a shilacking of Ball st winning by 35. They are avg 77 points in the NIT while holding opponents to 60. Of course the cuse team they will run into next is a better club then Vir, UNLV, and ball st (well, I think so anyway) so these numbers might not mean much besides SC is playing good ball beating the teams they should beat. Is cuse one of these teams that SC should beat???????

Cuse's last 8 games they are 4-4 with no big wins besides beating a solid Butler team. Thy did loose 4 straight comin into the NIT losin to G-town, BC, and Nova twice. They are avg 68 ppg in the NIT and holding their opponents to 59.

Right now I like SC minus the 2 points, just seems to me they are playing better ball right now. I'd like to look at the individual match-ups for the game b4 i make my final wager, but as of now Im gonna play big on SC. NOW, does anyone have any thoughts????????:brows:

Off to bed, be back with match ups tomorrow:sleep:

thinking this could be like a homegame for the Cuse......people have wondered about why the Orange would even bother caring about these NIT games.....but now that they've made it to MSG, motivation should not be a question. "while we're here, we might as well win it" playing in NY and getting 2.5 sounds good at first blush. i've done no research on this one......i think i just gave what would be the public's opinion.

Thx for the reply nighthourse, do U think that Cuse is better than SC when both teams are playing well? DO U think Cuse has come out of their little end of the year slide? How much of an effect will playing at the MSG really have?, big?, little? I see the line is up from 2, looks like the public, so far anyway is on SC. Anyone care to comment on these things?

Oh man, this is CLASSIC!!!! Syracuse now changed to orange shirts, but keeps on white shorts for now. Hope the contrast in colors will throw off USC's game.....lol

Think it's affecting BOTH teams, shooting terribly. If not for the uniform thing, game would be a dud so far.

Well, just as I'm typing this looks like they're picking up their games.

USC's got the right idea, going inside. Think they got the advantage there. Now, if they can only hit their outside shots w/ consistency they'd be dangerous. So far the Cuse hanging on to a slim lead. Uh, it just got tied.

Boring ass game, neither team seem interested and walking the ball up the court with barely any fast break chances. Cuse seems content with a small lead and SC looks very confident that their D will keep them in the game. SC isn't gonna push the pace, and I don't think Cuse will be pushing it up either with a small lead.
