Does anybody know if this fight is a go? I thought it was scrapped a few weeks ago when Hop backed out. The line is still showing @ thegreek and boxred is still showing it's a go. If the fight is still on, I like witter. I don't think Hop can stand up to pressure and I rate Witter above Forbes.

Last I checked, Hopkins is having promotional issues with GBP and his uncle, he claims he's never seen a contract to fight Witter let alone sign one. Says he's not opposed to fighting Witter at the right price but nothings been offered to him yet.
I agree completely, was planning on backing Witter until I read the above info. If the fight still happens and its not under GBP, I would load up on Witter at those odds. But if Hop is fighting under GBP I would go small as Witter would need a stoppage to win. I think he stops Hopkins in the mid to late rounds anyway, but I hate betting against the juice.

I think they can only go so far w/funny scoring. If it happens twice then they lose all credibility. That dec kept Hop in the mix to fight for a title. I don't think GBP can pull off another one w/the same fighter. I don't think the dec was horrendous but the wide scoring for that fight was. The same goes for casa who I feel got the robbery of the decade v santa cruz. That one wasnt remotely close. If casa won another controversial one then GBP is going to have to answer some questions. I like kasidas in that one. Casa relied on good reflexes and they aren't there anymore.
